Volunteering

Delaware Greenways works with communities across the state to protect open space, preserve and enhance valuable community resources and assets, and promote healthy, active lifestyles. Our success is due in great part to the generosity of volunteers that work with us to give back to the community.

Delaware Greenways' seeks volunteers to help us with programs, planned events, outdoor activities, trail projects and administrative support. Our projects vary in type and interest area, which offers vast opportunities for our volunteers to learn and enjoy. For example, many of our Trail Steward volunteers are active people looking for a way to give time while also enjoying activity and the outdoors. Being the "eyes and ears" of local trails and parks is a way to justify some extra time outdoors and contribute to the community.

Listed below are regular volunteer positions that we seek to fill. We also are willing to work with you to set-up an individualized volunteering position for your needs/interests - just ask! If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, E-mail us or call 302-655-7275.
