This map provides an overview of the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail and the State and County Parks located in and around the trail. Please note that the trail connecting Alapocas Run State Park to Brandywine Park was completed November, 2009.
Delaware Greenways partnered with the Pike Creek Civic League and the New Castle County Department of Land Use to create a community walking map for the Pike Creek Valley. The map highlights greenway connections, parks, trails, and pathways in and around the Pike Creek Valley. The project was funded in part by a grant from Livable Delaware. Free copies are available at our home in the Birds-Husbands House (1910 Rockland Road)..
The Brandywine Hundred Walking Map illustrates the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail, biking and walking facilities, farmer market locations, destinations and connections in and around Brandywine Hundred. It also includes information on the social marketing campaign of No Child left Inside and the campaign's leadership and mission. This is the second in our 'community walking map' series, which we hope will inspire local residents to walk more and enjoy recreational opportunities and other cultural resources that are near to home. This map was funded by Nemours Health and Prevention Services, a partner in the No Child Left Inside campaign. Free copies are available at our home in the Birds-Husbands House (1910 Rockland Road) and at State Parks located along the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail.
