Planner / GIS / Graphic Designer / Community Planner 

 

This is a part time contract position.

Duties:  Prepare mapping using GIS that are both technically correct and understandable to the lay audience.  Design leaflets, brochures and other documents for wide distribution.  Conduct research and participate in studies and advocacy projects.  Prepare reports and white papers.  Assists in grant writing and at public outreach events. 

Skills:   GIS, Graphic Design, Strong research, writing and speaking skills. 
Desired Qualities:  Self-motivated, independent worker, good team player, strong written and communication skills, project coordination experience.  

Software:  ARC VUE, MS Office, InDesign, Publisher.

Experience:  This position is ideal for an experienced planner in semi-retirement or a planner just out of school.  This is an exciting opportunity to meet and work with the communities we serve and leadership in and outside government.
Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Transportation


Engineering/Planning, Governmental Policy, or related field.  Master's Degree preferred.

Salary and hours are negotiable, depending upon qualifications and available funding.

Administrative Coordinator


Delaware Greenways is seeking a part-time Administrative Coordinator to assist the organization with administrative, bookkeeping and community outreach work. 


Successful candidate should be well rounded, detail oriented, hard working with the desire to continue to learn and tackle new assignments. Basic bookkeeping skills, excellent verbal, written and social media communication skills required.

Must have the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and act as a team player backing up coworkers or other members of the organization when necessary.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Donor Perfect, QuickBooks and Word Press preferred. Minimum of two years of successful experience in a related position.
